Not mine, and not sure how long the listing will last.

The description is too long to copy here, but the VIN is 1FABP26M2FF234937. Can someone post a copy of one of the photos? It seems to beyond me tonight!

This is Bill's (28hopup's) old car. I knew it as soon as I saw the description which is just copied from Bill's old description when he was selling it. And then seeing the bad paint break the guy did after getting it from Bill and painting the white on further confirmed it.

Brad is correct. That is my old car that was bought by the guy in New Jersey who painted the white roof and doors, added markings, and installed some of the equipment. Supposedly the car is now in Montana. I doubt this ad will last long on eBay since the car is shown with markings/lights.

You forgot to mention fixing the wheels too (as in needs the correct 85/86 SSP steel wheels).

I sold it with four correct wheels and caps, and the correct front brake hardware. I wonder if they're still included with the car?

Did that car really sell a few mos back when it was listed from the Seller in NJ (which looked like it was some sort of car dealer)??

The entire ad on eBay contains all of the pics that were originally from the NJ ad/eBay listing... Every single pic.

So it went from Bill, to NJ - changed up a bit by that Buyer.. Then was listed in NJ shortly afterwards for $16k... Then presumably sold to someone in Montana and is now being listed/flipped again? The shipping cost alone from NJ to MO would have been cost prohibitive to flip for a profit (if it really sold last go around).

If it really is in MO, that car sure is attempting the 50 state shuffle... Where to next is anyone's guess...LOL.

Nice one, Andy! :)

It is a different eBay seller this time around, and given the new location I guess the car sold the first time around and is being sold again. I agree that it is harder to re-sell a car once you factor in transportation costs. IMO, the car is not worth the high dollar figure they're asking. The car is not a full-blown restoration. I rescued it and returned it to a nice driver (losing $$$ along the way), but it is not in the same league as some other beautifully done SSPs (Jim's old CHP, Aaron's AL DPS and KHP for instance). But as Andy pointed out this car can be improved upon by a new owner.
