I asked if he knew any of the history of the car. He stated "there may be something in the glove box". He added that he purchased it from an individual who's business is buying and selling old police cars.

those cars still scare me today!! i actually got pulled over by one while in flight school. funny thing is, I was driving my 84 GT350 at the time and when the police officer approached me, he liked the my car so much he let me pass with a warning. The SSP was brand spanking new with less than a thousand miles!! the green striping was beautiful against the white.
