Welcome to the forum and good luck with your search. One of the forum members purchased the one they auctioned off just a few months ago. With the low numbers, those seem to be tough ones to find, or find when someone is selling.

Welcome to the forum! :)
As Mike said, those are tough to find but not impossible. The KSP also ordered SSP Mustangs in 1985, if you wanted to expand your search criteria a bit. Good luck regardless!

I bought the last Mustang that KSP had in service. I have been waiting since 2005 for that car to sell, because there were no others available to buy. The only way to get a KSP Mustang 1985 or 1990 is to wait until someone had one for sale. If you wanted a reconstruction / build project, there is one 1985 that may be for sale in PA. But it will be a tough, expensive project.

Thx guys
I prefer the 87-93 cars
Would prefer an original rather than a clone
I want one to go to car shows with my 87 GNX
Would be two of my favorite cars from high school days

I'll echo what others have said....it may be a awhile before one shows up for sale. With only approximately 14 KSP SSP cars ever....it's quite rare to see one come up for sale.
Good luck on your search!

there was an 85 for sale in Canada recently. Guy was asking a ton of money for it but it looked like a pretty nice car. I will reach out to him to see if he still has it. The last I heard it was headed to long term storage.

I never could get a response when he listed it for sale

Thx for all responses
Seems like would be a long wait
If ever
Could make one but not the same
I also like the CHP and GSP 1990s models
May also look for a fully restored one of those
Thx

The thing about it is, just when I think a particular car will never go up for sale, it happens. You just have to be active in the hobby, start building a network in the hobby and be vigilant and on the look out. If you stick to it, one day you'll land one. I wouldn't "build one"...again they are out there, just not many.
