Brand new here, Vin number 1FACP40E4LF153368. Previous title shows the mustang was purchased by the MBTA on 04/03/1990. It was sold at a police auction on 11/02/1992, with 51,191 miles. The mustang has a DSO of 11 0175. An Autocheck on vehicle shows it shipped to the dealer on 03/21/1990, then sold in 1992. The Autocheck score is 51, and only shows one owner. The drivers door jamb has decals 4 8 1. The right side of the console has holes for a mount. The carpet next to the console has been "sliced" for wires or mounting. From the doors back looks like original paint, with painted pinstripe. Nose looks Repainted and has replacement pass fender. I have reached out to the MBTA to try to obtain more info. Have plenty of pics, for some reason they wouldn't upload.

Welcome to the forum! :) If a picture is too large, the forum will not allow it to upload as an attachment. If that is the problem and you cannot resize them using MS_Paint or similar software, you can email the pictures to me a mm750[at}comcast{dot]net and I will post them for you.

Your car (LF153368) is at the beginning of a 40-car batch of VINs with one North Carolina State Highway Patrol car (unconfirmed agency use) towards the end of the batch. You can find the list of 1990 VINs in our VIN Project:

I like the color combo, even though the interior color is not for everyone. Congrats on the car.

I don't have time to prepare the page for the VIN Project, but here is the original title query listing the Massachusetts Bay Turnpike Authority as the owner of this car.

Hop, thanks to you and the rest of the members who reached out to me. My stomach is in knots. This is a tough decision for me, but I have spent a ton of time going back and forth. As someone who still has his first Minibike and first car, thirty years later. I feel I owe it to the car, to be returned to her original beauty. I know I can't even touch her for over a year, and I don't think that is fair. I will ad it to the for sale section later today. Car runs and drives. She needs some work, but I think based on being the only MBTA stang known, I think 4500 is a reasonable price. Let me know if interested.

Very nice! At the rate your'e going, your museum is going to end up with more SSP Mustangs than non-SSP Mustangs. LOL

Thanks guys! I got tied up at work, so my mom and her sister met the hauler at a local grocery store to make it easier for him to get in and out. She sent me a text when she got it back to her house, saying it's nice and really fast. :No no:

The SSP's are very appealing to us. We've been very fortunate to end up with the ones we have.
