I am within an hour's ride, in case anyone needs me to look at these, or pick them up and hold them.

There is a set of Escort caps for sale on eBay (not mine) right now -

The center section of the Escort caps are shorter than the ones for SSP Mustangs, but there is a thread here about modifying these caps to add depth to the center section.

Thanks 28HopUp, I did see those caps and I'm waiting for the bid to get closer to the close date which I think is Black Friday. A good candidate for the Mods. I also have asked the individual (Bernie?) who posted his Mods--- what kind of products he is using to do his mods. I have not heard anything yet. He is graceful to post some pics which do help! Thanks for the ebay tip!

PS there is one OEM in the bag front cap on ebay right now for $164.00. Which is not bad considering the prices I have seen.

did you happen to check out the 10 holes he had next to those wheels?

I have purchased them.

I did see those 10 holes in the pic but at the time, but I wanted the Steelies.

The Seller actually met me at a busy place of business and I never made it to his garage.

I still have his texts and emails. I'll ask him what he is doing with them and post when I hear.

That one looks 10 hole looks pretty damn shiny but I am skeptical about the true condition of anything this person sells.

The Steelies he sold me are in great shape, but I spent quite a many hour cleaning them which included a lot of spider webs, caterpillar cocoons and assorted other crud I could not identify. The were diamonds in the rough.

If I hear back I'll let you know.

I asked the guy tonight and he will be sending some pics tomorrow he is selling---all 4 with the centers. If they look excellent no road rash and not all peely and yellowed. I'll post them and then give you the person's contact number. Cheers

I have the caps, if you have an '85. Argent finish. They should be refinished before putting them on a show car, but next to no heat damage. $285, plus shipping.
