1989 Stephenville Texas SSP

Got an all original non molested untouched SSP. It is in really good shape for an SSP. Has the original white paint. Most I've seen have been torn up and abused. It is an automatic. Overdrive is out, normal for this trans. It has lite hail dents. Was a stephenville tx. Sheriff's car. I put new door seals, Window run channel, water pump,fuel pump,thermostat and trunk seal. It is as it came from Ford except the front seats. Has recarro seats for now. It runs and drives great. It is a really good car. These are going up in price and to have one that is in this condition is hard to find. I will be putting it on eBay in a few, giving locals a chance at getting a nice SSP. 13,000 obo. 3253650366

Although the VIN is obscured, the SSP option is visible on the Buck Tags. Haven't heard back from the seller with the VIN. If it goes to eBay (which it likely will at this price), then we will have the VIN ;)

Though 1989 was the last year for the black painted SSP wheels, they could have opted for the non-painted civilian version from the factory as the Minnesota State Patrol did on all 20 of their SSPs in 1989.

You are right on the tail lights (and on the seats too, as no way SSPs had 85-86 GT seats in 89 or any other year).

$13k is very optimistic for that car... even if it was totally stock and the overdrive was working!

The listing is no longer on CL, and the seller never responded to me. I cannot imagine he got anywhere close to his asking price. Maybe we will see it on eBay?
