Dusted off the '88 and joined John10698 with his '92 to provide a little entrance display at the 18th Annual CHP Golden Gate Division Employee Appreciation event yesterday in Vallejo.

Good times indeed John, that was fun (except for that kids thing....grrrrrrr!). :No no: I sure hope we don't have to start crime taping our cars off at these things! LOL

Some more great events are on the horizon, see you there.

What kind of legal issues would I run into doing a full restore like these? I have #5311 CHP. I am a first responder and I am allowed to use emergency lights and sirens, but I'm worried about the badging/vinyls. the car will have custom ems plates too, not that it matters lol.

Here in TX, there are tons of people running around with red, blue, yellow, etc in their POVs. As you know, a lot of the LE community here do not have take homes, like your buddy at the college, and many work EJs out of them. Red is technically the restricted color, but I never see anyone really enforcing that. I'd say that as long as you keep everything covered, you wouldn't have a problem.

Welcome to the site.
