I sent him an email asking some questions. Never heard back but Interesting car. From the description of the options, it seems like he may have just put SSP wheels on it.

Seller says it was a west coast car. I sent the seller an email to ask about the VIN/DSO numbers.

I dealt with the seller on this car for over three months. He has the car listed on Carsonline.com and I called and spoke to him on the phone. He claims the car is a never in service car ordered by a dealer with "every possible option" yada yada. He also claims to have an identical car that is a 1983 SSP. He offered me both cars for 10k. I waited over two months for him to send me four terrible cell phone photos that showed very little of the car. The pictures he sent were basically useless other than to show the car was white with a real light blue interior. That would coincide with an 84 WSP car. The photo's he sent of the "alleged" 1983 car showed a ratty red interior. He also stated both cars needed the dash pads replaced.

I specifically asked several times for pictures of the door tag to allow me to verify the DSO numbers etc. My plan was to order two Marti reports. I informed him I wanted to order Marti Reports.

The seller sent me an email telling me that he would not give out "that kind of information until there's a serious of definate purchase". That is a direct quote from his email.

My take is that the guy is a scammer.....and without question....cannot be trusted. I would ONLY deal in person, and for sure make a visual inspection of the car AND the title before doing any business with the guy.

the email he used for our communication was JimBoBeem@yahoo.com

I have his contact information and also a complete log of my every contact with the guy. Buyer beware...
