I stumbled across this in search of another toy. This is not mine.

nice car at a nice price. Be nice to see what agency it is from.

Not an SSP.

Not an SSP.

Can you elaborate? I'm looking for a clean coupe, hopefully an SSP, and I'm curious if you know more about this car.

Just saw somewhere else that the door tag didn't have a 6 digit DSO. I guess it's more of a clone.

Gotcha! Thanks!

Did they ever have the remote trunk release button on the right side of the console?

My '92 has it under dash, left of steering wheel.

Thing also has ground straps on the hood... hmmm

It's a good deal either way for a rather unmolested fox. Wish I had the room.

CHP cars did....I'm sure there's a few others, too.

Take a look at the fan shroud?

This car is intriguing. I haven't been in a SSP since I sold my 87 FHP car years ago and my memory is a little foggy so maybe the members here can help me out.
I know the ordering agency could request the location of the remote trunk release to a few different locations or it may have been mandated by the updated "knee crash pad".

But, shouldn't the Odometer be a "million mile" one by 1993. Could a "cloner" have installed a earlier year speedo? I don't remember when the newer odo was installed.

Also, while trying to figure out what is incorrect about the fan shroud (besides being mounted incorrectly to what looks like a replacement radiator), shouldn't the alternator look bigger? My old car's alt looked like it could power my house.

Either way, clone or true SSP it doesn't look bad for it's age and looks like it would make a nice "rolling restoration"for someone because it doesn't look all butchered up.

However, offering for sale as a SSP if it's not, just wouldn't be right, although the seller doesn't state ex-polce.
Let me know what you think.

It's not an SSP...everything that you see that makes you think it is an SSP was added by someone who wants you to think that it is.

First for me was the wrong odometer...before the info came out about the door tag.

The shroud looks like it's zip-tied to the radiator, also.
