View Full Version : 1982 CHP Mustang #0513 (before it goes to ebay)

This specific car is # 0513. This car has the original (very faded) black and white paint. The white paint on the right door still displays the scrape marks from the CHP sticker removal. The roof appears to have the original antenna base used when it was in service. The left rear large antenna hole and spotlight holes have not been covered over by any type of body work. The front bumper cover is torn on the left side by the headlight but does includes the hole cut by the CHP for the siren. This vehicle needs a full restoration but is a very solid starting point. The ignition on the steering column needs to be replaced due to an attempted theft at one point. The trunk lid has been replaced due to key hole damage. The other body panels appear to be original. This car does run but has been sitting for many years and would require work to make it a safe and functional car for the street. I do have a CLEAN title to this car. Questions? Nice pics, and you aren't spamming. :)

If I didn't have an '82 already, I'd be all over this one. Have you checked for the build sheet? I'd bet it's in there, considering how original the car is.

Someone got a hell of a deal on this one. Glad you got it sold and hope it is going to someone that is going to restore it.

Sounds like a great Mustang guy. I'll turn him onto the site. I thought it would have sold for more $$ but o well... The last 82 CHP car in less original condition sold for $4200...... The person who won the bid on my car lost out on the other 82 CHP this past May so I think he's happy to get this one:) .
