Someone is going to be married to that car as it is going to be YEARS before the cars are worth that kind of investment in restoration parts. But there is an arse for every seat....guess I need to dig out my NOS canadian speedometer :D

Someone has more money than I, to buy it for that amount. By the way, if anyone needs to repaint their faded gauge needles try using the paint used by road surveyors. I did it on my needles and they look great.

Do you have a brand name for the paint?

Also, Jim Y. was telling me about a speedo shop out in CA that will restore your entire guage cluster to like new. I was going to send out one of mine to see what kind of job that they do. I've seen their stuff on eBay, and it looked really nice (and a heckuva lot cheaper than the NOS stuff).

The paint is industrial and made my KRYLON. It's QUIK-MARK 03702 Fluorescent Orange.

I did not know someone refurbished these or else I would have gone that route. For one who is taking the conservative route, the paint is great.

Just remember that the needles are very delicate and cover up the rest of the gages. What I did is I cut a circle on a piece of paper then I cut the circle (0nce) towards the center. This allowed me to slide the paper under the needle and cover the gage. I painted and removed the paper.
