Wish I had 4 grand lying around. I wonder if they're taking a loss on it.

Seems to be a pretty good deal at that price!

That BIN price is less than I originally paid for the car in 2005 and a considerable amount of restoration work has been done on it since then!

A screaming deal on a rare 4-eye SSP for sure...if anybody is seriously considering a purchase, they should get a move on.

Didn't this car sell at a buy it now of $4K "supposedly" just a few days ago?!?Yes...shill bidders or flakey buyer, take your choice.

It wouldn't make sense for a shill bidder from a sellers point of view using the BIN.....but I believe I recall this sort of thing happening constantly in the past with Universal which would make me extremely uneasy about dealing with them at all.

still a deal at 4500.00 but I remember calling the owner on the phone about another car he had. He wanted 10k for a 5k car and was a total jerk about it.

some shennanigans going on......but with ebay I am not suprised.

Back in Oct 06, I had a simular deal with that seller where I was the last winning bid until 9 seconds or less before end time and was out bid. I beleive I was at $4600. A short time later it was listed again. I called them to inquire why I didn't get and they said it was a bad winner that back out. They then told me they would sell it for $6500 or I can bid on it again. I advised eBay of this type of selling and they said they would check into it. That was the last I heard. Very suspicious when dealing with this seller.

A customer of mine travelled over there to buy a Trans Am he had which he listed as perfect and when he got there he found a number of problems that were obvious that they never disclosed over the phone....his wife HAD to have the car and he negotiated only for that reason to make her happy otherwise he would have walked away....he was not happy with their attitude. If someone is going to spend 3 hours on the road to come look at a car you should do everything you can to describe it accurately...of course he also said the salesman was an idiot and didn't know his head from a hole in the ground.

Anymore after all their BS on Ebay I don't care what they have....I'm not interested at any price.

I hope the right person liberates this car from those bozos soon, it'll be nice to have it back safely in the hobby.
