You know I never have the money for shows of this magnitude. And if I do, I feel guilty about spending the money on something like this when it could go on something the kids want or need. Am I wrong for feelnig this way?

I'd like to participate in this one especially since I missed the Ford 100th birthday bash up north, the MCA anniversary in Birmingham and the 40th Anniversary of the Mustang in Nashville. I missed all these big shows but would hate to miss the 45th.
I won't say I'll be there because when I do, I usually jinx myself and something happens where I can't go.
But I am watching fuel prices closely. I don't think I can afford to trailer my DPS Mustang anymore. Trailering gets me about 12 mpg. Driving the car yields about 23-25 mpg. Doubling my gas mileage helps the pocket book and allows for the possibilty to attend. and rumors of a national recession worries me, too.

BUT!
I hope Tom Mallette and I can come together and if so, we will drive together.
Two awesome black & white Mustangs cruisin' down the interstate lookin' mighty fine!

So anyway....I will keep my eye on this one and hope to come.

There is nothing wrong with the way you feel. A car and a wife can come and go but kids will always be yours. But just like you take your kids to their favorite places and your wife does her nails and fixes herself up, for her own good feeling, you too need to do something for yourself at times. Like my grandfather said, "When you are old there is nothing left but memories and if you don't make them you'll only spend your last days hearing the other old people tell theirs."

I'll put it on the calendar and maybe I can make it 3 black and white Mustangs cruisin' to the show! If not I will be in a white 86 for sure.

Well you have more than a year to get ready.....but that is only 14 months which makes it sound less....so get busy! :D

I am going to "try" to have 4 cars there....but we'll see. The sad thing is that I will want track time in 3 of those cars but that is way out of budget so I am going to have to choose.

The worst part for me getting my cars done is being so close to the track I know I am going to have a ton of people wanting work done before the event....I am already booked and have 6 customer cars that HAVE to be done for the show and others hoping......it's going to be a busy/hectic year.

I'll be there. I'm looking forward to seeing the Barber Motorsports Park since I was unable to go to the MCA 30th Anniversary.

I will be bringing three cars if I can rent me that big of a trailer.

93 FHP, 85 TXDPS, and I may bring the 07 GT to thrash hell out of on the track !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell I might just hire me a car hauler and bring about 6..........
