92 CHP EVOC 9189

I took delivery of the EVOC car friday got to look it over today. i will be looking for everyones help and advice with certain parts of resto as i go along. Any help will be greatly apprec. i also have 91 FHP for sale needs resto. full power car 5 spd. Thanx John

Drove the evoc car to body shop yesterday drove it about 30 miles highway and city ran great. Will take time getting past the noise of fuel pump,road and exhaust. With no back seat and no interior in the trunk lots of road noise. Got new camera going up to shop monday to take pictures then try and post them.

Started pulling body parts and pulled all interior i could get out. Makes things alot harder with the rollbar. I couldn't get headliner out or back seat panels.

I feel your pain...I need to reglue the headliner on the CSP car, and the roll bar is definitely in the way. This one is just bolted in, though. Yours is probably welded in many places....

Well the wispers and rumors of my cars original plates getting out with car and then sold are true. Good news is i tracked them down with help from Charles and i purchased them and got in mail today.. YYYYYaaAHHOOO!! Front one is very beat not sure if i should get restored let me know what ytou guys think. I will post pictures in my fotki album.

Well went to my buddy at local ford dealer to order some parts today. Have to use FORD.. rear bumper,mouldings, headlights and passenger inner fenderwell CHP broke it getting siren out. The rear bumper you can see split in it in photos from 1999 can be fixed but i will save it and get new one. I'm sure i can find used stuff but waiting on pricing he get's me most for cost.

1/4's doors and fendeAdded a few more pictures to fotki album almost all body work done on car. But because of the F'N weather up here and ice storm they put parts back on to make easier to move car around.They are priming all black parts black and all white parts white that way if it scratches will be hard to see. Roof, rear rs are in finish primer.

Updated FOTKI with couple of pictures slow progress due to winter storm accidents keeping shop busy. Also look at my dining room i wonder how many of us car nuts have rooms like this???? Also tons of parts in garage and other rooms lucky i'm not married i would probably be divorced. Should have alot of new pictures in next couple days. :danceban:

Added some more pictures to my fotki album. Shop is trying to get car back to me this coming week we will see the hood,trunk and bumpers all need paint and wet sand/buff. Also car needs to be assembled. But i'm getting excited can't wait but i still have ton of work. Had the seats cleaned but now they look terrible the extractor they use pulled the dirt out from inside and now it's in material. Looks like hell i will have to get upholstered now. :( more money

He wet sanded and buffed parts off the car and now doing again he knows i'm a freak about that orange peel look that comes with clear and shows badly on black.Not that it was bad to begin with but it also helps get any imperfections out.

OK all i got to work on the car for a couple hours today "FUN FUN" updated my Fotki album didn't get alot done but some. Also CHP guys please look at the Gun rack part of my album i'm trying to make it work let me know what you guys think. I know some are away in S.C. and maybe the jealousy is what made me work on car today.THANKYOU for the motivation and hope you all had great time.
