For sale one very rare and unrestored 1982 CHP SSP Mustang, 1 of 406 ordered for the California Highway Patrol, and one of a handful known to exist, (LESS THEN 10). The first year for SSP production, these cars are truly a benchmark for SSP Mustangs and a must for any serious collector. I have collected the correct CHP style/period electronics including radio, siren, lights, antennas, spotlights, shotgun rack. the car has 5.0L 157HP, 4 speed SROD manual transmission, 3.08 posi rear, PS/PB/. The A/C is not hooked up. Really a neat car, complete and ready to restore. MUST SELL ASAP

who really cares if someone copied an ad for the same model car? Your back one day and allready looking to start anothe fight with Mike Riley?? Does it never get old to you?? Holding a grudge so long is not good for your mental sanity.

I dont know Mike Riley personally but seriously, let it go allready...

There's been alot of fraud recently (mostly originating overseas), where people copy others' ads for cars for sale and try to sell cars that don't belong to them. Could be the situation here.....or maybe somebody just copied the ad for convenience sake. Who knows.

The way I read his post, the "Phoenix" '82, which just showed up for sale this week, copied Riley's ad. How is that trying to start a fight?
:dunno:

maybe I misunderstood his post. I guess Andy was trying to point out that someone copied Riley's ad? I was thinking he was saying it the other way around. Ok sorry if I misread it. I just get tired of seeing all the infighting!:No no:

Oh and I also have a migrane today and none of my prescribed meds for them isn't working :(

Your Apology accepted! who ever wrote this Phoenix area Craigslist ad did not say 1 of
about 400 he/she said an exact number 1 of 406 so when Googel-ing this stuff (another
example) >>correct CHP style/period electronics including radio, siren, lights, antennas,
spotlights, shotgun rack.<< this is an exact match! EXACT. I also noticed that on another
site that someone locally (in the Phoenix area) mentioned the CL post and has not received
an answer back..... interesting when think about last part MUST SELL ASAP
...........hope you feel better!

There was a guy selling a CHP Mustang on the SF Bay Area Craigslist last year who had pics Jim Young's restored '92 CHP car posted in the ad. I do believe he mentioned that they were for reference only but it shows that you never know how and where stuff we post is going to show up on the web.

If anyone knows how to watermark their pictures, please post. This way our pictures will not end up representing what another wants to say is theirs.

Yes, that was me, you can say my name. Nope, no pictures even though he did respond and say he would get them but that was days ago. I will let anyone know if pictures ever arrive, doubtful.

Watermarks are good but can be removed so it's not fool proof.

Like Mike Said...could be a scam....I've seen SO MANY of those scams over the past couple of years....even so bad as that one of them was a '68 Cougar on ebay and the scammer ALSO had it listed on ebay at the same time!!! I informed the real seller about that one. I've also had fun taunting and leading on a few that have tried that crap with me directly.
