Not sure if any of you guys remember this or not but a couple of years ago I went to see my sister in DC, She took me out to the USSS driving track and I got to do a little driving. The mustangs they used were all under 5k miles but literally beat to death, with most all of them having had transmissions replaced at least once. I would be cautious about buying one of those cars. Hard to say where the Machs were used or what for but unless they are way cheap I would think twice. (no I am not bidding) :)

hard to say though......they may have been babied and only driven by little old mail carrier ladies....... ;)

I know how I would drive a MACH 1 police car that wasn't mine! I found this pic of one in-service.

You just never know with these cars. My brother's neighbor is an undercover IRS agent who has had numerous muscle cars for his govt. ride over the years (a GN Buick, numerous Trans-Ams, Z/28s and Mustangs, a GTO, a Monte Carlo SS, etc.) and he has babied every one of them like they are his own. Of course, no telling what happened to them after he turned them in.

If it was an unmarked admin type car then you're obviously better off than if the car was a traffic unit.

Not that anyone really cares, but here's some more in-service MACH's.
