The 23rd annual Fabulous Fords Forever show will be held at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA on Sunday, April 20th. I'll be heading down there again in CHP #3035 and I suspect a few more SSPs and other Ford EVs will be there as well!

Heads up to anyone within striking distance of Orange County, CA...the show is next weekend. I'll be meeting up in SoCal with "LAMOTORKING" and his '89 CHP for the ride in on Sunday morning. Hope to see Phil Sanchez' '86 CHP there as well as a few other SSPs.

This is an awesome Ford show so come on out!

Can you get some REAL GOOD shots of Phil Sanchez's car? I would really love to see some more but what I have found on the net just is NOT ENOUGH!

If you liked Fords or Mustangs, you wouldn't have been disappointed with this show....there were 1,832 total registrations with over 1,100 of those being 'stangs!

Here's my car along with the '89 owned by Rob ("LAMOTORKING"):

The ex-Secret Service SSP rounded out the trio:

The most fun for me wasn't had at the show but rather teaming up with Rob for some tandem SSP swooping on the LA area freeways coming to and going from the show. Picture CHiPs but with Mustangs instead of motors...I'd have killed for some video of that! :D

Those 2 CHP cars sure looked nice next to each other! I guess the 86 was not in attendance?

Nope, the '86 was a no show. Phil was there showing his SVO but he left the SSP home. He told me they got jammed up by the CHP on the way home last year, something about uncovered decklights and a replica shotgun left in the rack. Well...DOH! :No no:

Oh well. Sometimes you just have to decide what's the easiest to get to and from without problems. The SVO is the winner this year.

The two aero cars sure looked good sitting next to each other.
