and in regards to the steering wheel. my 85 texas car was ordered with cruise control. If it was ordered that way the Marti report will have it listed.

None of my radioshacks had the NMO mount, but I ordered one yesterday from their website. Should have it tomorrow hopefully, and it will get mounted asap! Thank you again!

Trunk lip mounting or through the sheetmetal? I keep a few of those around as a habit since I know that I'll need them at some point and the Shack doesn't normally carry those but my local ham shop does! :)

This one mounts through the sheetmetal, there is a hole drilled in it. So I assume the mount will come up through the bottom and thread into the base. If the one that comes isn't correct, I'll get with you Greg!
