Chose to section lower portion of right fender apron as aposed to replacing it, (That's finishing putty you see on it) as 95% of the repair will be cover by batterie box and I get to retain my factory spot welds where they show...

Nice going, Bobby!

Keep up the good work, Bobby! The four-eyed cars are near and dear to my heart. I always look forward to progress on this rare GSP. :)

I always get a good chuckle when I see sub frame connectors on a car that never saw the north end of 300 horsepower. Comedy.

glad you got them off without having to rebuild the sub frame.

as for the rotisserie after using one of those I really don't know how I ever worked on the bottom of one of these cars. It makes life so much simpler.

At first glimpse I thought "Ricky Racer" had cut out the shifter hole (In fact I had lined up a donor one to patch it with). Turns out it was only slit and folded under. The rotisserie really made the repair super easy:2thumbs: got it all straightened and welded back up...
Now to clean up the bottom of the floors in preparation for paint...

The bottom cleaned up real good. A little more work and she'll be done underneath. The 83's had a lot less color on the bottom than the aero cars did. I'm going to put the olive color sealer on it and replicate the same overspray as from the factory... Or that is my plan ;)
