Thanks for the offer, but unfortunately my friend of almost 25 years passed away last May (during heart surgery) and I have no idea what his present wife (4th one, married only 14 months) did with all of his collectibles, (guns and real cars). Since I hardly knew her I did not think it was appropriate to ask.

Sorry for your loss... I understand not asking...

Thanks, JR was the one who got me into modifying my 86 GT convertible back in 1990 (he had a supercharged 90 Mustang hatch at the time). He had over 200 muscle cars pass through his hands over the years, but his favorite car was his 89 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am that he bought and modified in the late 90's. He would host an annual local Buick Grand National Club event at his detail shop and invite me and my MSP SSP as the only "brand X" allowed. He encouraged me to buy my first SSP in 2004 and we had a lot of good times over the years.

Miss my FHP I'm sure many of us miss our past ones.

Who has your FHP now? The one thing I dislike is when a car falls off the radar entirely. Sometimes they'll pop back up. I know with my 1985 CHP #E408395, the last I heard it was being sold in Montana for relatively big bucks. Perhaps it is better if we do not know the fate of our old cars, because they may not be doing too well. :(

I found the VIN Project page for the 92 FHP. It was one of the lucky FHP cars to have some in-service accident photos -

I owned it at one point and sold it a number of years ago. Acquired the FHP crash photos when many on the forums were scooping those up (and before that window of opportunity passed). My understanding it has bounced around several times since, at least that is what I've hard, but I haven't noticed it surface in several years. Sure did like that car. :)
