I think you're right...good illustration of how they were taped off and the black sprayed.

Actually, the owner had a picture of the car as he bought it from auction and was completely marked with no mess on the paint. The most it had was a red spray painted line across the "State Trooper" and a red spray painted "X" on the seal. I hope he registers and posts that picture. Other than that, the car looked in service when he bought it. He is not in Law Enforcement, in case anyone was wondering.

The cars were painted at the factory. The bodies were all cream, but they were taped off and sprayed black.

They used to spray black paint and now they're using driveway sealer to cover the tan before auction.

I'm going to try and get a hold of the guy to see if he gets on the sight. Does anyone here need information from the car to verify anything?
