Sorry for the crappy photos. It's raining out here. I'll get some better ones soon though. Here's the link to the gallery: http://gallery.me.com/starski#100102...or=black&sel=0

The car looks good. What are your plans with it?

Welcome STARSKI! In another post I just commented on your DSO#. I've also got a '93, 72 0009! And yours is 009?! Very interesting.

STARSKI 02-06-2010 02:06 PM

That is very weird, mine actually is 72 0009 so we have the same DSO? Is that possible? Here's a couple pics of mine: http://gallery.me.com/starski#100110

I'm planning to somewhat restore it, but as a daily driver. I'm more trying to do a resto-mod thing with it. To where I restore it but do certain mods that make it better as a driver.

That's what I'm doing with my 85 CHP. A previous owner added the larger 11" 87-up front brakes, and the suspension was beefed up as well. Since I like to drive it so much, I plan to keep it as a better-than-stock driver, without going too far that the car couldn't easily be put back to stock. Sounds like you may have a similar plan for yours.

Yeah that's pretty much what I plan on doing. I want to try and find out some more info about the car. What's a good starting point? Contacting the CHP? My GF's friend's BF is a police officer but not CHP but I was gonna see if he might be able to ask them or something.

Yes, our DSO's can be the same. Where it will vary will be on the second buck tag. I couldn't see the second one in your pics very well. Here's what my second buck tag reads:

2660 LX2 LX E2 111908
AC HB
SK
G6 PF 1016 720009
2 111908 50

Where our cars will vary should be where mine says 111908. I think that this is the build number?
