Ooo... I might know your dad too from a long time ago. His first name Chris?

Mustang Kid 07-15-2011 10:47 PM

Yes, his name is Chris. May I ask how you know him, what kind of cars you have, your location. It would be easier for him to remember who you are with that info since its been along time.

Originally, I was calling him back in 2000-2001 to try and find a 1978 LTD up in that neck of the woods to do a restoration of a Cleveland Ohio Police car. He probably doesn't remember me directly but he probably remembers a few of the crew over at Copcar.com though. I still have his number though at his shop. He found a car for Dave Arnold of CCdC and got that restoration started for Dave.

He wants to restore his 95 CHP Caprice (#902080, lets see who can guess the significance of that # :) ), hopefully by next year it will be restored and we can take it down there. I may have my 96 Nevada HP Crown Vic restored and maybe take it down :) ( if you can bring cars like that; I havent really looked into the show that much)

This vid should help acquaint you with what typically comes to the show:

You'll fit right in.

Some good, some bad, some ugly. Some of the comments posted below that vid are funny as hell.

Cant wait till I restore my NHP P71 now! I spent all day today looking through the hundreds of photos of CHP cars at Motor Transport that my dad and his friend Ron took back in the late 90s and early 00s. I found 40 or more photos of 91-93 SSP CHP Mustangs (in service, wrecks, sales lot cars, stripped cars, etc.), would you guys be interested in having them on the site? I could post them all in a thread.

Hi Sam! I'm glad to see that you made it over here from FEP. From the sound of things, it looks as though your parents have raised you right in terms of being interested in Mustangs! :) Our son is 15yo, and Jack and I have been working on a Mustang project for about a year.

Thanks for joining, and post up some pics of your 84 here if you can.

Thanks, my parents have raised me right in terms of being interested in cars, even though my dad has his mustangs, I wasnt that into them until I got my 84 convertible. Now I know more about the normal mustangs than my dad (he knows a lot more about SSPs though) and whenever I see a POC fox I wish I had the money to buy it, fix it up, and sell it, lol. Mustangs are great projects, I'd like to see yours and your sons project on FEP, unless you already have a thread about it :)
