Thats a great looking 86!

You may of mentioned already???? But is this the first SSP for ya? and may I say it won't be your last ! you are hooked my friend!;)

Thanks again and yes this is my first SSP. I've had an 88 Saleen (#218) for a short while many years ago. I was talking with ChrisL yesterday and was telling him what an adrenalin rush I got when the car was running. The exhaust tone makes you want to drive it, and its a copcar too! What more could you want right? I've built many police sedans but this is my first SSP. I wanted to give this a try with an unusual state agency too.

By the way, I also see that this car was in service for 10 years from my initial title search. Also, I've got Idaho SP trying to locate the correct group of trooper ID numbers (license plates) for this batch of cars.

Pretty exciting stuff to hunt down!

I love the long stripes on the IHP cars! Neat SSP too:2thumbs:
I'd like to find an early 80s (80, 81) IHP Gran Fury. They are neat cars.

Greg!!!

I'm glad to see you finally got a SSP. With your background, I'm sure it's going to turn out fantastic!

Yours will be done before mine. I have a couple of vehicle projects ahead of it, and my 16 year old daughter is bugging me to buy her a car.

Can't wait to see the updates on your skunk patrol. (J/K)

Thanks Jim and the rest!

I look forward to getting this one done as it's a cool car! Skunk Patrol eh? Interesting... might make for a nickname maybe??

ChrisL 10-06-2011 10:53 AM

Why isn't the car completely torn apart yet Greg? What are you waiting for? :D

GSPI 10-06-2011 12:40 PM

Smart aleck...:headscratch:

OSP959(R) 10-06-2011 11:56 PM

Ya Greg,

Shouldn't there be a primered car on the Spydar by now???
