I don't think you're asking too much at all, sheesh seems like a deal! I have seen the price of 4 CYLINDER coupes creeping up to over 3K these days.

Ya I dunno, I've definitely seen way shittier and hacked up ssp cars for the same money. Not sure what the issue is. I've more or less decided to put the price back up to 7K or keep it.

It's a very fair price; I would be on it if I didn't already 4 foxes.

Keeping the price up weeds out the guys looking for cars to modify and possibly destroy with rollcage, minitubs, etc...

That's why I've wanted to let it go, because I want a coupe that I can mod and not feel like I'm ruining it.

I totally understand. My '86 is stock and all my buddies say how they would do this and that to it and I always reply "nope... it's staying stock."

Ya I thought for sure someone would've had a nice modded street/strip coupe to trade me, I even offered a few thousand difference. Notta, lol.

Johnny Five 01-14-2015 08:12 PM

Ya I think I'm officially taking it off the market and just keeping it. Please delete. Thanks.

Drew, I cannot blame you for wanting to keep it. If you decide to sell it later, you may have better luck once the weather gets warmer. Your SSP looks like a solid car at a very fair price. It's just tough to sell these cars sometimes.

I will be sending you a PM, as a follow up to your FB post. :)

EDIT: By the way, I added your car's unit number to the page in our VIN Project -

Thanks!

I've had a couple calls from this site on my Nebraska car. I may not have been completely clear when I updated last.
The car is no longer for sale at $6500 and the only trades considered would be a nice built coupe or 1st gen Camaro roller.
