A few progress pics....got the rebuilt original motor installed. Stock springs and shocks/struts installed. Also new keystone refinished wheels and new tires installed to replace the incorrect black wheels. She's getting there. Still have all the emergency equipment/decals to install and she'll be done. She's not perfect and not a 100 point car. Kind of my opinion of an in-service, driver resto. But she's in waaaay better shape than when I got her, that's for sure! :D

Got the new carpet, the right non-cruise steering wheel (thanks DJP! ) and good used set of seats (thanks specracer!) installed. Still trying to source the right color (titanium) console. The insert is right and in great shape, just need the console and armrest.
|
Looks good. Any thought to dyeing the armrest/console that you already have?

These are in cans...just custom mixed.
My car had an aftermarket stereo also, but it was just a bezel with 4 holes in the console. Yours must be worse. |

Yeah, he put 4 huge screw holes to outer edge after cutting it some. Also, while doing his modifying, he caused part of the back to crack that helps hold the cage for the radio. Just not in the best shape anymore. |
Brad, the car is looking great! You've come a long way with it. :)

More progress pics....most all equipment is installed so far inside. Still need to get the Mph radar in. Everything was installed/stacked like the in service pic I have for it. Amazingly my buddy fabbed a bracket that didn't require any cutting or screwing into the nice dash.
