Does that car have a crash history? ? I have a friend very interested in it.....

NoDrama43 10-09-2015 06:28 AM

yes...seriously crunched.

send me your email address and I can send you photos.

NoDrama43 10-09-2015 10:48 AM

now the seller is claiming to have a clean Carfax......

He hasn't responded to the pictures I sent him.

pictures are here:

Judging by the bidding it looks like a previous owner is trying to buy the car back.

I am an Admin on two other Mustang forums, and one of the things I like about this place is that members cannot edit their post afterwards. It forces people to be mindful of what they write, and it preserves the information for later. I think it is helpful that the photos are still online from the prior damage to FHP198. Other SSP Mustangs have suffered more damage and been brought back to life, but it is nice that this information still exists for potential buyers to see.

Very helpful indeed!!.... Car listing has of now been removed.

TWOCARNUTS 10-09-2015 02:58 PM

Oops I made a mistake.....I received an email from eBay stating item no longer available but just checked and she's still active!!...sorry for my confusion. ...TECHNOLOGY ROCKS!!

I think the car is pretty darn nice.....rare color...blah blah. however

when someone starts asking 20k for a car and doesn't disclose history then I don't have a problem disclosing it myself.

Maybe the seller was oblivious?
Maybe the seller knows and hoped for a quick sale?

judging by previous posts here the seller "claimed" these cars were going into a museum? Pretty clear he was lying about that.

Exactly why I set it like that and we keep it that way. Significantly less problems, and it sure helps to be able to refer back.

I'm glad posts are quickly locked and only an Admin can edit. Surprising to me more forums don't do this as well.

I never submitted an insurance claim to keep the car from being totaled. I knew they would, and that the car could be rebuilt for about $3000. We ate the back of a Tahoe that day. Should have never driven it to work. 😔. I would probably still have it. I love Reef Blue.
