OK I have to ask, what is with the mint green late seventies looking Catalina in the background...

The painter likes to do some restorations to keep his skill up. He tells me that 98% of his work is insurance related and with new cars there is no challenge because everything is taking off and put a new piece. He likes it when an old car comes in and accepted by the owner, for repairs and paint.

The official word today from the shop owner is that the car will be at home on Friday 9/7/07. That is good news because on Sat. we in S. FLA have the 911 run. Pictures will be posted and I hope all of you from S. FLA show up. Sunday will be the 1st day of work to put the car together.

Here are the latest pictures. The black has some dust from the shop on them and the trunk was ready to have the clear painted on.

The pictures are not the greatest. Today I had several issues with the way some parts were put together. Attention to detail is usually a missing art for so many people. Most people think only about quantity and not quality. I hope it will be fixed soon. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...SSP/SSP109.jpg

Late yesterday afternoon I got the car towed home. After I have put it together, somewhat, I will post pictures.
