Definitely not the siren....follow the PA mic.

It could be an old CB radio.

I didn't think about a CB....considering the CB antenna on the deck lid in the in-service pics....that's a very good guess! Thanks Evil!

Now I'm wondering where the siren is mounted....with the micor and that's why it looks so thick or down by the shifter where I can see an aluminum bracket sticking up....

ImEvil1 06-05-2013 05:35 PM

It's down by the shifter (PA mic cord).

Well, the restoration of 1537 back to in service condition is still ongoing. Slowly.

Dropped her off in Bobby's (kapracing) capable hands to paint the tan back on and fix some other paint related issues.

It's slow going but I'll get there eventually. :D

That's great news. I actually saw an IPS marked car here in Atlanta a few weeks back. Thought of your ride immediately!

Congrats on taking that step.

Haha! That's exactly the stuff I'm trying to get reveresed on this car....the IPS influence! LOL

Thanks brother. It's probably the biggest step other than getting the motor rebuilt and back to stock. That might be the only thing not done by the 50th. But it will be back to black and tan, be fully marked and hopefully have the interior "mostly" corrected.

She's getting there!! Thanks Bobby for all the extra attention you're giving her!! ;)

It looks great, Brad!

You have to be getting very excited...always a big step when the body/paint process is moving along well.
