Congrats on the excellent outcome of your efforts! That's one nice looking early SSP and is a real knockout sporting the FHP colors. :2thumbs:

I don't like it...
I LOVE it :2thumbs: Glad to be able to help. Great job. |
Marcos, all that effort and frustration paid off - BIG Time!!! The Mach will get kicked to the curb and the FHP will have a new home inside the garage.:D Very Very nice - enjoy it.:2thumbs:

The Mach and the FHP rule the garage now. The Rome PD car is outside :( but I will buy it a carport.

Door seals and Ventshades. |
Excellent work! Couple questions... I just pulled my buck tags off the other night. Did you re-paint yours in the pic on the other page? Are those the origional seats and coverings? They look exactlly like mine.
|
The buck tags I took off when it left to the body shop. I did not want them to get lost or damaged. I stripped them down to the aluminum base and then repainted them black. Afterwards I passed a piece of cloth with some fingernail polish remover over the raised letters so that it could be legible in any event that I get stopped or asked at a show about the original paint scheme. As far as the seats, they are the original seats, as far as I know, and all FHP Mustangs from 1984-1989 had the tan interior.
