So either Perm 3085 or 3089 is
The one in the pic totaled.
But is more than likely 3085 due to the fact that vin check reports follow 3089 until it was dismantled in 1999. It was however involved in a rear end collision in 1994. The car in the totaled pic was obviously not that old when rear ended. As soon as I get the earlier books I'll be able to confirm which Perm it is for certain.

This is more than likely Perm 8085.

It's possible. But it was turned in with 90k miles and no notation of being wrecked. That would have been Gary Rogers car (the one by the Guard rail at HQ

I spoke with Gary today and 3081 was turned in by him with 90K miles and in good condition. So it was not wrecked by him... I'll dig through my records again tonight to be certain it was not reissued...

Just got this from a very reliable source about the wrecked 83 GSP in earlier pic.

"I did some checking and some trooper friends of mine and they said this one belonged to Denny Heard #745. This would probably be Post 47. It was wrecked on Ga. 85 in Clayton County. One of the troopers said he went to the scene so I would say the info is accurate."

Still don't have VIN or Perm but in time...
At least I have Badge #to match to perm # now:-)
