Tom

It definitely deserves to come back home.

In my opinion, the car in question was a hurry up and get it done vehicle. Inaccurate in most all respects etc. Had several owners. One, several times. I am not aware of any documentation that goes with it either. If a person is willing to spend 9...10...13k, which I believe was the buy it now price originally, why not stretch and get a fully documented vehicle for the investment dollar? The money would be better spent. Again... my opinion.

Can't argue with anything you have stated. All true. I was very surprised when it brought 13K the first time David sold it a couple of years ago. I'd still like to bring it home and take it back to correct 93 TX specs.

I should have bought it years ago when it was still in TX.

I love your car, just too much money for me right now.

I think when Dave bought it originally from the guys in Texas, he paid mid 7's for it.

True. It would be nice to see it re-done correctly.

Stube's Nebraska car has met the same fate. It was bought for a fair and decent price but now it languishes in "Flipperville" and the asking price is unreasonable. The 6k NCHP car is another perfect example.

If I was going to buy for the sole reason to sell these cars I would deal with cars in the 3500.00 to 6500.00 range. There are many more prosepective buyers in that price range. Very few in the 11,000.00 to 16,000.00 range. I think it is pretty obvious that most people are starting to have a better understanding about the direction these guys are pushing these cars. I will reap the benefits of their action 20 years from now when or if I sell my cars but I still hate to see it happening. It is always great when a new member posts ups about "finally" being able to get their SSP. In the coming years, as the prices get pushed through the roof by non enthusiasts, fewer people will be able to afford their dream of owning one.

I have been bitching about the GGG sellers/flippers/dealers since 1997 so this rant is nothing you all havn't heard before. I will jump off my soapbox now and get out to the barn. I have a ton of insulation to put in the walls.

ScoutDriven Rebel..... Offer him 9700.00 Since you are an .org member he will probably throw you a bone. Just don't sell your soul and pledge allegiance to the KoolAid Koncept. :No no:

Very interesting set of words you used there Jim. What do you mean by the term "KoolAid Koncept"?

Ok guys lets get this car to a new home. I am raising my payout to 20.00 So the "net" payout to you will only be 8480.00 LOL Maybe with a little help this car will sell?? :)

Here is the latest on this car recently posted on .org:

I have lowered the Reserve to under $8500...and if you can collect on Jimbo's $10.....$8490 net...

I think this car is worth what David's asking, I'm sure its going to sell at this new price. I think the black interior looks good too...

I think we've discussed this one enough. Either it sells or it doesn't. I'm glad to see that the seller wasn't able to get $13K+ for a car that he's willing to sell for $8.5K.
