Thanks Brad and Bill !
Gregg really stepped up to bat today... And knocked a home run!!! I truly enjoyed working with him today. |
It was a very good day, we made a lot of progress. Working together on this has been great fun.
I asked to take the car home to do a little work on the door panels but that plan fell through. Bobby already had the panels removed for me to take. I don't know why he gets nervous every time I get close to the keys.:headscratch: |
:watchout:
I wonder why?:headscratch: And yes it has... |
The car is looking fantastic!

UPDATE...
Ok everyone,
Here is our official agenda for Savannah show. The car will be arriving Friday October 10 around 8:30- 9:00 a.m. Car will immediately be placed under a car cover, and the civilian GSP's will be strategically parked around the States car. The hosting MCA club will be announcing through out the morning of the upcoming unveiling which will take place at 2:00 p.m. That's when we will "officially" present the car to the GSP. Photos will be takin of the event as well as of participating Troopers with the cars as well. The car will remain at the show until Saturday at 5:00p.m. At that time will be returned to GSP. Thanks to everyone who donated (both parts and money) and also those that encouraged us along the way. This project is something we all can and should be proud of. It also will hopefully give the SSP community some positive recognition from not only the GSP and MCA but the general public as well. Thanks, Bobby |
Great job! Awesome! :D
|
Gonna be a neat event!! :2thumbs:

More progress
1 Attachment(s)
Well as some of you may know Gregg has not been feeling well.
That being said... I made some more progress today on putting the car back together. Console; equipment tree; radio head; Lightbar controller; door sills; kick panels; rear deck lights with NOS bulbs; etc... Etc... We are coming into home plate, so to speak. It is going to have exhaust work done tomorrow. I have a line on a local shop possibly willing to install our donated shocks and struts ( will find out more on that in a day or so). If not then I'll do them myself this week end... Items still left to install are; Fan clutch Fan blade Belt Overflow tank Lower air deflector Coil cover Distributor cover Sun visors Map and over head light Door panels Steering wheel Dash bezel All by the 26th  but I'd say we are on target for that goal :2thumbs: |
