My taillights got jacked.
So my dad and I went to the wrecking yard where he is storing a bunch of his late model cop cars. He was looking for batteries to cash in (31 cents a pound= av. $10!). I couldnt remember exactly if my NVP CV was #031 or not. I go around to the back and sure thing it was 031, but someone stole my taillights and worse... destroyed the original trunk lid:mad: . Really no way I can tell that the taillights on one of the few 96-97 CVs are mine:(
Some people are just... http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...s/IMG_8548.jpg Being at the back of the row(4 cars are infront of each of these cars now with plenty more along the fence too) was a contributing factor. http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...s/IMG_8552.jpg http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...s/IMG_7687.jpg http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...s/IMG_2182.jpg http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...s/IMG_2184.jpg |
Guess they are not worried about paying for sins later...the plate cover didn't even slow them down a bit.

That sucks... I mean for a set of tail lights too. Didn't know CV tail lights were that rare or in demand.

They are just getting harder to find and people just don't wanna spend money. My dad's friend (who owns the yard) had an SUV (being parted out) a long time ago and someone during the night jacked the thing up and dropped the trans. They would have come back for it the next night probably.

That sucks Sam. Taillights cane be easily replaced, but that decklid (as marked) isn't something you can get off any old parts car. :(
