My new car is HERE!
Check out a picture I just took of my new car -
http://images15.fotki.com/v587/photo...therCar-vi.jpg It's a vintage gasoline-power Roy Cox Thimble Drome tether car from the 1940's or 50's. The engines are similar to what you find in model airplanes. Pretty cool! I found it on ebay. Did anyone else have a Cox tether car when they were young? And in case you thought this thread was about my California Special that was due to arrive on Tuesday... ...IT IS!!! The driver came three days early and dropped it off Saturday night. I already installed the new Raxiom taillights, which really set off the back end. http://images112.fotki.com/v681/phot.../GTCS02-vi.jpg http://images51.fotki.com/v103/photo.../GTCS03-vi.jpg http://images42.fotki.com/v663/photo.../GTCS01-vi.jpg :D |
Congrats (on both). Very nice.

Thanks Andy! :)

VERY nice Bill.

Awesome Bill! Now it just needs some LEDs and stickers :D
jk, but I think it needs some black accents around the headlight/grille area :) |
all i can say is DAMNNNN what a sweet ride!
|
I'm thinking a "Shaker" hood. :) and a shifter upgrade and call it done. Maybe exhaust....
|
Exhaust is already done. :) I picked up a pair of GT500 axleback mufflers from a friend at another forum. They are slightly louder without being obnoxious. In terms of other modifications, I'd like to go with a slight window tint all around - no more than 50% or 35% ceramic film. I MAY drop it with lowering springs, but frankly I really love how it rides stock and hate to mess that up. I could do gears and a tune using the factory intake and K&N filter, but I'm very happy with 412 horses so far. I've still been very good while breaking in the engine - I haven't even chirped a tire yet.
