1989 SSP Mustang F/S in DFW area
 

All, I am going to have to part with my TX car. Life goes on. The car is mechanically sound. The car has served as my daily driver for the past few months with no issues. You can drive this car anywhere. The car is not perfect but it is an all original car minus the tires, mufflers and it has been repainted in the past back to its black and white paint scheme. You would be hard pressed to find an more original SSP. The car is not a show car by any means, but I take it to local shows and always get a great response. :) I'm asking $5,000. The car:
1989 Ford Mustang SSP- Former Texas DPS Car. Unit#M9-166
5.0L Engine- Original with 230K miles.
5-speed car
Blue interior
Paint- not original. Was painted blue for auction and repainted back to in-service colors by previous owner. The car needs a repaint.
The wheels have been powdercoated (by the same guy who had the car painted)
I have tons of receipts for work done to the car.
The AC works and has been converted, but there is a leak and I haven't had time to track it down.
It will need tires at some point.
Has flowmaster mufflers
The wig wags in the headlights still work off the switch on the dash.
The original siren is still in place behind the front bumper.
The buck tags are still in place.
Equipment holes in trunk and the interior are still there.
Factory headlight and tail lights.
I have a good set of blue seats that will be installed in place of the faded blue seats that are currently in place.

Also, NO RUST! Just a good solid car that hasn't been hacked up. Never wrecked from what I can tell.

The car is located in Weatherford, TX. 20-25 minutes west of Ft. Worth.

Justin, nice car! Thank you for allowing me to inspect your car! It drove well and has quite the potential for restoration, wish I could have every one I see but at some point you have to ask, how many is enough? Like all the sevice equipment still in place along with unit and state property stickers. I love the Texas Black n White scheme, and thats what I have decided to do with my M7-417, restore the paint next. Enjoyed the trip to Texas this weekend, nice country out your way! Good luck with the sale, I to hope somebody here gets it and preserves it to its former glory!!! Also, congrats on the little one on the way!!!!
