1988 gsp ??

I just got the 1993 Florida car which needs considerable amount of work.

But was looking at this car as well he says it's a 1988 gsp. Says it still has roll bar wig wags and 140 speedo

Vin doesn't have anything in the registry.

Haven't got any good pics yet. Anybody know this car or the Vin or can verify gsp usage? Thank you!

Since that VIN is inside a batch of 100 consecutive VINs with dozens of confirmed GSP Mustangs, I'd say that this car was a GSP Mustang as well. Bobby can confirm the car's GSP pedigree (Unit/Perm Number and assigned Trooper).

Would the carfax show it? Mine said police vehicle right after it was manufactured. That vin doesn't show anything between 88-00. Not sure if it helps any

Some states indicate "Police Use", or "Prior Police", etc. on their titles. Others do not. I don't think Georgia does. Florida does brand vehicle titles as as such, that is why you see it on the vehicle history report for your Florida car. You can see such a designation if you look up your VIN on Florida's vehicle information check website.

Thanks for the insight. I saw that it was in-between 2 on the list that were confirmed. I will run a Vin check on it and post it.

Man that would be awesome . I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it. It's pretty dirty from the pics he sent and the cowl panels bent. But hopefully it's not to bad in person. I'll get pics when I go look at it either way.

And thanks again for the info! I appreciate the help.

Your quite welcome and good luck. Keep us posted either way and at least get good photos of door sticker etc for our beloved Vin Project:2thumbs:

Here's some pics I don't know how to send them through a message, I searched the guy on here who had it. And from his post it appears that it originally had red interior.
