1986 Wheel Centres Needed

OK, I figure I may as well start with the hardest parts first for my 86 UHP car. LMK if you have any leads on where I could get a set. Thanks
Gary

Wow, I thought some SVO and Pace Car parts were hard to find but these take the cake. Are there any in the universe?:)

Good luck Gary. I have four new escort caps I am going to try to modify to work. We'll see how that goes.

What year Escort caps would fit? It would be fun to pick a few up and try to modify them to fit.

WHen I get home Ill look at the part # and post it unless someone beats me to it.

86 - 94 FORD ESCORT TEMPO TOPAZ CENTER HUBCAPS HUB CAPS

Here is where I got mine... You might contact this guy as this is the second set I know that he has sold in the past month.

LINKY

Good luck... I am going to try to get with a guy locally and see if we can reproduce these to some size order... I am not sure what the cost will be but once the template/cast is made from a model (3D modeling) it will be easy and we can find a local plastics place to do the production run. I will have to change something up so that Ford cannot come after me for Copying their licensed product though. I am sure it can be something on the back side like my Co. name and part number as well as a few angles and pedestals.

Andy has a set of modified escort caps on his 85 CHP... Hes has pictures some where he might share.

Those are the super-rare Argent caps. :)

Seriously...I have a set of these in chrome, if anyone wants to use them temporarily.

I now have a set of Argent and chrome ones myself. I just have to get the SSP ones argent after I get the best one to the 3D modeler guy for the making of the mold. Then we can make chrome and argent anytime and they will fit the SSP no modifications.

If you can pull this off, you'll make lots o' people happy. :)

I'm going to try to get this done for OUR hobby because these are to hard to find. Even if they are just the argent ones to start at least there are chrome Co.'s out there that can chrome this stuff later for an additional cost.

Just remember the little people, is all I ask, on your way to stardom. :)

Seriously..I'd love to have a new set in Argent for my '85. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Somebody needs to find a way to get them reproduced. I 'am sure most 85-86 ssp owners, would buy two complete sets at the least. I think most owners could care less if there nos are not, the only way you could tell if you take the cap off.
