I saw these but not sure they are what they say... But maybe someone needs them

Thanks for posting that....I need two sets (one for my '83 DPS). I'll call on them tomorrow.

He took them off his 84/85 DPS car right after buying it at the auction and has had them in his garage ever since....

I called him this morning to buy them...now to get up to Austin to pick them up!

...then the new guy comes along and buys them after ImEvil1 said he wanted them. Nice.

Not a great way to start things off. :No no:

That's funny, "The new guy..."

Well... new guy to this site anyway. Welcome Tony.

86NeSSP 05-27-2008 04:39 PM

Wow... Aren't we having fun here today?

TxDps 05-27-2008 04:43 PM

Brian-
Thanks...

I knew about the wheels and called him before seeing it on this site....He is also going to sell me an original exhaust setup and an extra 7.5 rear axle that he took off of a Mustang and Capri back in the early 80's.

New to this site, yes. Having restored my first SSP 10 years ago and been involved with all of if from the beginning, I was stuck in the middle. A moderator on the other site, and having friends run both sites...what to do? So I stopped posting on one and didn't register on this one, even though I helped contribute to the pictures and restoration areas.

Also, Welcome Tony!

Just trying to watch out for each other. No problem and welcome to the site Tony :).

Bernie-

Thanks...
Just have been wanting to lay low and not be called on picking favorites...
Life's too short to have enemies....unless of course they're crushing these Mustangs or are some kind of terrorist, or a tree hugger...

FHP813 05-27-2008 05:04 PM

I know what you mean...

ImEvil1 05-27-2008 09:38 PM

Thanks for looking out for me guys....that's what we are here for. :)

Tony called me this afternoon and told me that he hadn't seen the post here before calling the guy with the wheels. I told the guy to keep me in mind if something happens or he comes across any other stuff.

Tony:
Welcome to the site and get your eyes checked, bro. :bouncy:

I think if you'd have posted something about already knowing about the ad in your original post, the rest wouldn't have followed. Since you missed the post altogether, I can understand the crossed wires. No hard feelings on my part.

Tony,

welcome to the site. glad to see you decided to join.

Sorry, wasn't trying to bust you up too much. It just looked bad from my viewpoint!

Mike, here is a pic of the wheels that are on the our 83. I don't know it there the same as the ssp. Looks like there are tabs for the dog dish caps. What is the width of the SSP's. These are 6 inch.
