I will see what I can do to check it out this weekend.
|
I will check it out tomorrow. Its funny what they hide in pictures. It needs a new left 1/4 since it was smashed which is also the reason it had the trunk lid replaced. It is supposed to be a AZ DPS car. They did have a few auto color cars back then and this was supposedly bought by the officer that drove it, but how many times have we heard that story. Their original plan was to part the car out for street rods since they say the body is junk.
|
High price for something they consider junk. I like it. It's the right color and set-up for a LSP clone.

Vehicle History Report
...........Said............. was not in AZ till 02 05/16/1988 NICB Vehicle manufactured and shipped to original dealer (then nothing reported till) 08/30/1991 95,543 Wisconsin Motor Vehicle Dept. Milwaukee, WI typical of the (Lost time) in service then it bounced around Wi. till 02 when it came to AZ Also it's a auto car! they ordered Auto. so if it walks like a duck! talks like a duck. I addition has has surface rust and a really nice dash (typical of mid west cars) I am more then likely completely wrong about this being a WSP Mustang. but i don't think so. |
Thanks Andy. By chance are there any photos of the interior, front, or of the right fender/trunk area? WSP identity can be confirmed by what holes for equipment are present in those locations.
|
I wrote the guy and this was his response:
"Sorry we have changed the ad H.O 5.0 i tired of explaining it so now i don't sry it a Mustang with heavy duty suspension pack and the H.O kit thats it as is thank you call 480-510-6151" |

Like this picture? where the RED/BLUE lights were? http://i41.tinypic.com/an24uc.jpg the can of Cheez Whiz in the glove box...? i have no proof that this IS/WAS a WI. State Police Car (as i said earlier) but all the indicators say .....it is. If the 1/4 was not bashed into the trunk and the door sticker and Buck tags were not gone this might be (something worth looking into) other then a Letter from the State of Wisconsin verifying the State Police Connection I would have to say it's Un Known But if it walks like a Duck....Quack Quack |
Andy, What was the VIN?

Just my two cents. My '87 WI SSP has an antenna mounted on each quarter panel, just ahead of the trunk. They put in rubber plugs when sold, and I don't see a hole in the crushed quarter. Mine also has another antenna mounted through the package tray behind the third brakelight. Later WI SSP's has this one on the roof. Two way radio head mounted in the dash under the factory radio. You guys probably know all this, but I was bored.
