Greetings

Just a quick note to introduce myself. I have been with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for 23 years. I have never owned an SSP Mustang but came close in about 1989. We had 20 Mustangs here. They had the automatic transmission. The last one was autioned off around 1989 and I thought it went for too much, $3200, so I let it get away. Sure would be nice to find one I could restore. I have owned a few mustangs, 1989 LX V-8, 2003 GT Conv, and now own a 2008 Bullitt. The Bullitt is the car that was made for me.

Thanks to all of you. I hope to add a SSP to my garage within the near future. What area of the site deals with what to look for on the car to show it is a special service vehicle? Have you Bullitt kept your cars stock or have you made some modifications? I have tinted the windows, put aftermarket front marker lights and removeable smoked headlight covers. Have to have all the light I can get at night. I am anxious to know the best places to look for my future car. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for helping me learn the ins and outs.

First thing your bullitt needs is a brenspeed tune. Wakes it up. A hurst shifter and louvers too. See imboc.com

Yes I think the Brenspeed is next then the shifter. I would like to add lowering springs and possibly the retro hood from MRT. I like those louvers and had thought about them at first, but not sure now. The IMBOC site is on my favorites. I use the same name on that site.
