Is this an SSP?

VIN # is 1FABP40E2HF129573. Its an 87 coupe. Anyone have a record? thanks Charlie

Charlie 06-04-2011 11:05 AM

I forgot the listing

Car is here. Looks like one but owner doesnt mention it. I was struck buy his saying he would not accept cashiers check and wanted wire transfer which Ebay warns people not to do. Suspicious huh?

nice car but doubtful it is an ssp. best way to pay for it is to fill a paper bag with hundred dollar bills and pick it up in person.

MOstang 06-04-2011 03:53 PM

I was a bit bored to read over the ad entirely, but I didn't notice a mention of it being an SSP but some of the photos are curious.

GSPI 06-05-2011 09:32 AM

Looks like someone did a professional photo shoot for this car.

ABN2060 06-05-2011 09:54 AM

It's missing the windshield wipers and motor.... Clean car and very nice.

FHP813 06-05-2011 10:09 AM

A/C is missing, coolant lines to the throttle body are missing, cowl seal is missing. For a 20k mile car there is allot of stuff missing.

NoDrama43 06-05-2011 12:26 PM

I sent him a message asking him where it all went? interested to get his response.

I doubt you will get one that makes sense. I asked him why he insisted on wire transfer when Epay warns people not to do that and he told me I was being annoying and dont bid. I noticed that some photos didnt look like right too. Makes me suspect he may be a scammer

Is that 188K a mistake? It should be 18,800 if the car is as stated.

NoDrama43 06-06-2011 10:11 AM

the cowl seal is on the car in the pictures. The owner emailed me back and said he has all the original parts for the a/c and wipers etc. I think the car is legit.

The wheels on the car are the original ten holes he painted satin black.

FHP813 06-06-2011 07:28 PM

I missed the cowl seal, but why would you take all of the rest off in the first place?

NoDrama43 06-07-2011 08:19 AM

because someone lost their mind. I didn't ask why he took the air off. I guess he thought that would make it go faster.

Fatrabbit 06-07-2011 08:37 AM

I sent him an e-mail through EBAY asking about the missing parts and ending my email with "Whats up with that".. He did return my email and called me a dick. So Buyer beware. I don't think he will sell it.

calimustang 06-07-2011 08:40 AM

i truly hate those kind of people with hard to get items... heart breaking...

He only called me reDICKulous and annoying, cause I asked him to explain his "only wire transfers accepted" deal. You must have really pissed him off. Then I told him "maybe you will change your attitude when it doesnt sell"
