The sales manager at Ernest McCarty ford called and let me know I have a VIN and build date estimate of August 27th. So all is going well with the new GT.:D

I've seen three here on Hilton Head so far, most recently a black one, sweet!!

alloy metallic, charcoal interior, 140A package (int upgrade to aluminum panels etc, 18" premium wheels (fan blade design), HID lights with anti theft system required to go with HID package, 5 speed. 3.55 gears, standard stereo shaker 500. How about yours?

nice! u didnt order HID lights? i did think of spoiler delete but nah.. i'd do other style of spoiler which it'd have hole on the trunk already from factory spoiler.

no, i didnt go with the hid. Originally I almost ordered a totally base GT, NO options at all. The problem is that if you don't order the IUP then you get only 4 gages. You have to get the IUP for the 6 gage cluster. Then I thought better tunes would be good-hence the Shaker 500, and the pimpin' ambient lights were relatively cheap and cool. My buddy just took delivery of his 08 GT500 convert with the ambient lights and they are really cool, def. worth the 295 bucks sticker price.

hmm.. good reasons. shoot i should have ordered ambient lights. ill ask dealer if its too late to add or not.
