Help ID'ing possible '92 Mississippi SSP
Hi everyone. I'm trying to confirm a '92 SSP, that I believe was ordered and used by the Mississippi Highway Patrol. VIN 1FACP40E7NF149723, buck tags simply say DSO-POLICE. This one falls in a batch of 10 consecutive '92 VINs (none have been confirmed).
There is one confirmed '91 MS SSP that has surfaced that was also ordered out of the 23 (Memphis) DSO, is the same YG Medium Titanium Clearcoat, Titanium Cloth seats, AOD, etc.. REGISTRATION EVENT/RENEWAL EXCLUDED/EXEMPT I spoke with an individual in the asset records / procurement office at the MS DPS today who remembers MS ordering and using Mustangs in the early '90's. He informed me they wouldn't have any records going back that far. So that's where I'm at. I don't have anything concrete, just speculation. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Jonathon |
You might be able to get title history from the MS DOR. But you must have a DPPA-valid reason for the inquiry.

I spoke with a lady at the Mississippi DOR title bureau today. She pulled the VIN up for me and confirmed it is in their system, but could not provide any more information until they receive my signed request. I should receive a response sometime next week.

My request has been processed and was mailed yesterday. She would not provide any information over the phone. Keep your fingers crossed.
