Maybe. Which hotel did you book? With Jack attending the College of Charlston this Fall, it shouldn't take much convincing to talk Debbie into a roadtrip. So maybe...

Me and Kim and Bobby and Jessica are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn/Savannah Airport.

Hotel and show registrations are completed. Debbie and I will be driving down on Thursday, with a late arrival to the hotel that night. We will attend the show on Friday (a triple-black 2011 GT/CS vert - display only), and run over to Charleston at some point to pick up Jack and be at the show Saturday as well. We do not plan to attend the show on Sunday. I look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new faces to go along with their online persona. :)

I need to set aside some time this weekend to detail the car. I ended up ordering a new wheel and 4 new 255/45R19 Pirelli tires so I do not have to worry about the cut-rate Indonesian tires installed by the previous owner. I still have the scuffed wheel with a "good" cut-rate tire, which I had hoped to use as a full-size spare. Sadly, Ford did not design the trunk well with a large enough diameter to hold a full size tire. So I guess we will just keep the donut in the trunk.

Mmmm donuts....oh wait, wrong kind. :D

Although there are photos in other threads from the show, I wanted to comment about my experience there. I REALLY enjoyed meeting new folks/families from the forum, as well as seeing several old friends again. This was my second MCA event, and I thought the host club did a great job organizing and running things. The venue was perfect (and well air conditioned inside on Saturday). Being able to take the water taxi across the river to historic downtown Savannah made the event so much better for us. The GSP presentation was super, and I think that the GSP collaboration will certainly enhance our visibility in the hobby. I do not know how the SSPs fared in the way of judging, but the show was GREAT in my opinion! I look forward to 2015! :)
