Great looking car !! Wish it would still be available towards the end of this year, but I'm sure it will sell quick.....

+1. Did you repaint it? The decals look sharp also.

DJP55 09-09-2007 04:41 PM

No...it was repainted before I bought it. Good...but not the quality I would have done.

ImEvil1 09-09-2007 05:28 PM

It looks good (except for the mouldings). Good luck with the sale.

AZ car

I've seen this car in person paint looks good not the quality of David's GSP but looks nice. Good luck with the auction David.

The quality is definitely there on the GSP car, but whoever had it painted used the wrong color. I saw it when Jim owned it at the AL show.

In fact...both colors on the GSP are off a shade....

Yeah, I noticed both. It still looks good, but I guess it would take a total repaint to make it correct.

To much money for a repaint car looks great!!!!

DJP55 09-11-2007 07:05 AM

The car looks great and replicates its hertitage well. The blue is off a shade and the white...well without a paint chip...you really can't tell. To re-paint the car to be correct would make no sense..unless it personally meant the world to you to have it absolutely positively correct. I walked away from a $20K offer in Augusta GA from a wealthy jerk. I love this car and would change nothing..:D

You gotta go with what makes you happy, right? I never said that the car didn't look good, but put it next to one that's painted the right color blue at a show, and there's a big difference. The correct, GSP(ultra) blue really pops.

Surprised this one didn't sell.

Seemed like a pretty decent price.
