1990 SSP resto
 

I been a mustang coupe guy for a few years now always wanting a SSP dead or alive. never had the chance or cash to get one until finally a friend of mine had a straight 1990 roller DSO 83-0117 191649 that he was going to do a LS swap to but didn't have the time or money to put back together. so after a few deals I brought it home and hope to restore it to as much as stock as possible with a few upgrades but all ford stuff. heres a few pics

Those GSA cars are tough to find info on, but they were used in SOME capacity which makes them more mysterious. :p NICE JOB on the interior, btw... :thumbsup:

the donor came from phil. pretty mint 90 gt hatch.

I also got the carfax on it will try and put that up on here later if I can.

but yeah I can see these GSA cars are hard to get any real info on it. I only found one similar DSO that was used as a undercover DEA car. but that post was from 07. thanks the interior is looking good just needs a really good cleaning.

funny how so many of the 83 DSO cars were used as "undercover DEA" cars.

if there isn't some sort of authentic documentation of the car's use then most of it is all made up hype and rhetoric.

Unless you have a signed affidavit........now that raises the "legit " level a notch.

well for this one i really dont know much about it. as for the dso 83 i think it had a general use and who ever got it used it for wat ever. i only like i said found one from a way old post claiming to be used as a undercover car. havent been able to find anyone with the same dso that can help me piece some of the history on my car.

Hopefully, a car will turn up with the same DSO number that also has documentation for agency usage. That's one reason the VIN Project can be so helpful. ;)
