Welcome! What can you tell us about your SSP? What are the last 6 numbers of the VIN? Do you know the DSO number? (it is found on the VIN label on the driver's door or on the Buck Tags). Any photos you can share? Have you ordered a Marti Report yet?

My ssp
I haven't reached the two buck tags yet bet I can see them..1lf133563 last 8. I dint know how to put an image on here yet.. I'll figure it out though lol
|
Sorry I think it might be pf ? I'm not near the car to double check the vin.. That might be why I can't find it
|
post up a picture of the tag on the drivers side door. That will have a ton of information for us to decipher.
And welcome to the site also. |
The original door has been long gone.. I'll have to rely on the tags and vin. I hope to see the car in the next few days as I have to take a few parts over to the shop. Then I'll double check the vin and get the tag info.

If it's a 1993 it's PF.
P = 1993 model year F = Dearborn Assembly If the numbers are correct you're not seeing it in the VIN Project because it's in a group of 2 consecutive VINs or its a single VIN. I only supplied groups of 3 or more consecutive. |

The car is actually a 1990 NCSHP SSP, as seen in our VIN Project -
http://www.specialservicemustang.net...info133563.htm This SSP was added to our VIN Project in May 2013, so I do not remember the details about the car. The current owner, Chuck, sent me the following attached photos of the car. The first two show the car as purchased, and the remaining photos show the recent tear-down. |
Pictures
Thank you for putting up my pics. And the info it does have a NC safety inspection sticker on the windshield.. But I will need a new windshield :( I would love have to seen pictures of it in service as I believe it was unmarked.. It has a 95 cobra engine, trans ( tremec tko) and 8.8 with disc. So it's five lug.. Has eibach springs.. Bbk shorties..I can't wait to drive it around painted black again
|
All I can find is pictures of black, white (top and silver (sides) marked NCSHP cars.. While Sanding my car I've found nothing but black and primer.. And a single hole on the right body behind the quarter window !?
|
If the car has never been repainted before and you are only finding black paint as you are sanding, then you probably have a SSP that was an unmarked unit. You might also be interested in this timely post about a 1990 NCSHP Mustang on ebay -

If it was Black (code YC) originally, and not a marked unit, why does it have no paint code on the 'regular' buck tag and special paint instructions on the DSO buck tag?
The Marti report for the VIN two after this one, with the same special order number, also shows "special paint". |
