Back from trip to Texas....
 

covered 2400 miles in the new 08, it has 6100 on it total now, and got an overall average of 26.1 mpg and average speed of 63 mph. Gainesville, FL to Houston, then to Dallas/Ft. worth then over through Shreveport and Meridien MS to Birmingham AL then back to G-ville. Car was PERFECT. Very happy with purchase.

headed back east bound, fueling up in east Texas.....cool, crisp....

got south of Dothan, AL and ran into fellow board member "steedachaos" at the Chevron on US 231.

happened to notice the tan paint under the decklid, this car has 422k miles on it and the 3rd engine....

just good stuff, didnt know the guy until I saw the paint....

Oh yea, forgot about that......lots of flat open spaces.......went from Houston to near Carbondale IL. then back the next day.....
