88 FHP SSP
I purchased this not knowing it was an SSP. After reading the bucktags and doing the research and learning about the forum from Jarhed I decided to respect the SSP heritage and not turn it into a racecar. I am going to list it on e bay Sunday but I figured I would give the forum members first crack at it. 120K, all original sheet metal, no accidents, car is currently NA Ford Green. Tan interior,5 speed, 3.08 traction loc rear, aluminum driveshaft, All stock except for flowmaster exhaust. I have replaced some parts recently with NOS Ford parts such as battery cables, air filter, fuel filter, clutch and brake pedal covers, window weatherstrips. Tires have maybe 500 miles on them. needs some minor interior parts but other than that solid. Car runs like a champ.Ice cold a/c(retro 134) . Has the door tag, both buck tags, and the DHSMV tag in the glove compartment. Looking for best offer..thanx, Louie

Louie, VERY NICE I like the green with tan. We met an older Gentleman at Silver springs that was looking for an unmolested FHP SSP. PM Jarhed, I don't know what he wants to spend but you never know.

Not much interest in the car on the auction...I certainly cant let it go for 3K..Looks like it might end up as a racecar...sorry guys...

1) What are you looking to get for the car? It helps if you post a price.

2) I wouldn't give up quite yet. Listing it on eBay for one go around and not getting the price (whatever it is) that you are looking for can be disappointing, but I wouldn't let it discourage you that much.

Your car is super nice; in fact, it's one of the nicest, unrestored '88 FHP cars I've seen.

Exactly, that is a nice car.

A lot of people are tight on funds till tax time is over.

That is very true and that is the same reason I have not posted anything further on my Calypso Green car. I will wait until the tax money comes in for most people.

You don't find them in this good of a condition often.

I actually have a father/son interested in the car from Georgia, they contacted me last night and are finalizing arangements to drive down this weekend and hopefully drive it home....
